Eagle Bay Gardens
All About Our Business (and us)
Cooks Nursery Was started in Western New
York, in 1928. Run as a country grower &
retailer of trees & shrubs, until it's purchase
in 1972,by us Katie & Ran
(Ransom) Lydell ( I'm Ran)
Over the years we expanded it's product
lines and added more land. We purchased a
farm (just up the road) where the present
Eagle Bay Garden is. In 1980, We started a
hosta growing and showing area at the
"farm" Growing is the right word here , as
that is just what it has done.
We are now a hybridizer of Hosta &
Daylilies. A Show garden, and a source for
many kinds of hardy & rare plants.
